“The New York-based architectural office Asymptote is interested in the interplay between virtual and real space. In questioning the flexibility of parameters between the two, and examining the different ways in which the human body moves through spaces molded by the flow of data, Asymptote experiments with and expands traditional fields of architecture. Theirs is a kind of architecture that is more study than manifesto, an “active” part of a permanent interaction between virtual and real space. Spaces change continually and receive substantial impulses from the movement and action of its users.”
