Announcement and order of events and performancs for a commemorartive event of the life of Aubrey Williams, the Guyana-born artist who died in late April 1990, during the course of tour of The Other Story exhibition, in which his work featured. Aubrey Williams | A Celebration took place at the Commonwealth Institute on Tuesday, 12th June 1990. The cover of the brochure featured a photograph of Williamds taken by Val Wilmer.

Aubrey Williams | A Celebration in Four Parts consisted of poetry, readings, memories, short stories, musical recitals, and songs, all paying tribute to this major Caribbean/British artist. Performers and contributors included Keith Waite, Anne Walmsley, Wilson Harris, Godfrey L. Brandt, Imruh Bakari, Donald Locke, John La Rose, and Errol Loyd.

The back of the brochure featured a reproduction of Olmec Stasis, 1984-5, oil on canvas, Arts Council Collection.
