Largely critical review (in particular of the exhibition) - review acknowledges that there is a book and television element to the entire project. The author describes the exhibition as “a jumble” and that “without the continuity of the TV programmes or the book, one struggles to make interesting connections between the works.” Another point made by the author is that the exhibition presents mainly painting and photography at the expense of sculpture, video, performance and installation.”The prevailing tone of the exhibition is one of worthiness. It is a point that must be elaborated but there is a unifying view here which is, roughly speaking, that of the artist as social worker.”
