Patrick Reason

Patrick Reason was a 19th century African-American engraver. One of his engravings ‘Kneeling Slave’ (1835) appeared in Judith Wilson’s essay ‘Surfing the “Black” Diasporic Web: Postcolonial British Art and the Decolonization of U.S. Visual Culture’ in the ‘Transforming the Crown’ catalogue.
