Augusto Alves da Silva

Born, 1963 in Lisbon, Portugal

Augusto Alves da Silva was one of five artists included in Citibank Private Bank Photography Prize, 6 February - 3 April 1999, held at the Photographers’ Gallery, London. He studied Civil Engineering at the Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisbon and Photography at London College of Printing, before graduating with an MFA in Media at Slade School of Fine Art in London in 1997. He lives and works in London and Lisbon.
