From the catalogue, Creation for Liberation Open Exhibition Art by Black Artists, 1987: “Born in Nigeria in 1955, Funmi is a painter, graphic designer and illustrator. Schooled at the Royal College of Art, she obtained a B.A. in Graphic Design/Scientific Illustration and also has an M.A. in Natural History. exhibited at The Black Arts Gallery (sic), Westbourne and Bedford Hill Galleries and participated in A Fe We Art exhibition and Tottenhan Images 1986/87. Presently employed as a teacher in Bromley and at Haringey Black Womens Centre.”
