From the catalogue Commonwealth Artists of Fame 1952 - 1977 (Commonwealth Art Gallery, London, 1 June - 3 July 1977):

“Born in Trinidad. Educated there and in Britain and the United States of America. studied in Trinidad, in the United States at Columbia University and in Britain at Birmingham College of Arts and Crafts, 1947 - 48, with a British Council Scholarship.

Alladin has had long experience as a teacher and lecturer, has exhibited widely in the Caribbean, Britain and the United States of America and has carried out numerous official commissions. He is at present Director of Culture in the Ministry of Education and Culture, Trinidad and Tobago.”
