Marjorie Allthorpe-Guyton

Marjorie Allthorpe-Guyton conducted an interview with Anish Kapoor for the catalogue that accompanied the artist’s work representing Britain at the XLIV Venice Biennale, in the British Pavilion. The exhibition’s dates as given in the catalogue were May - September 1990. The catalogue interview was titled Mostly Hidden: An Interview With Marjorie Allthorpe-Guyton.

Though it was not referenced in this catalogue, Kapoor was the first non British born artist to represent Britain. He had been born in Bombay, India in 1954.
