Catalogue ”published to coincide with the Body Visual exhibition, 2-27 May 1996 at Barbican Centre, and touring”. Exhibition featuring the work of Helen Chadwick, Letizia Galli, and Donald Rodney ”dedicated to the memory of Helen Chadwick 18 May 1953 - 15 March 1996”. Introduction by Nicola Triscott. Section on Donald Rodney features Flesh of My Flesh by David Thorp, In a Strange Terrain: Science on the Molecular Level by Dr Alison Bybee, and Race by Pallab Ghosh. Two full page details of Flesh of my Flesh (1996), Rodney’s contribution to the exhibition [3 panels: Colour/Black 7 white Photographs, Each panel 183 cm x 122 cm].

Donald Rodney’s practice is summarised as follows: “”Donald Rodney works in mixed media and installation art. His powerful works, which are based on his own struggle for disability and also challenge the injustices and inequalities which confront black people, have been seen at the Cornerhouse Gallery in Manchester, the I.C.A. (Institute of Contemporary Arts) and the Black Art Gallery (sic) in London. In 1995 he was an exhibitor in ”Care and Control”, a major exhibition at Hackney Hospital.”
