Maud Sulter was for a time on the Editorial Board of Art History, Journal of the Association of Art Historians. Her work was featured in the journal, Volume 17, Number 4, December 1994: 513 - 516. The piece “Jeanne: A Melodrama”, featured four monochromatic reproductions - one per page - of Sulter’s collages of the time, accompanied by minimal text, in French.
