One of a number of favourable reviews of the Keith Piper and Donald Rodney collaboration, held at Pentonville Gallery, Adventures Close to Home. The review was written by long-time City Limits art critic, Mark Currah. From the review: “Keith Piper and Donald Rodney have each made a separate installation dealing with policing and the methods that led to the shooting of Cynthia Jarrett and Cherry Groce. What is striking is how they have moulded the memory of these events into artworks which make a stronger statement than agitation could.” The page number of the review is not noted, though the review came from City Limits of September 3 - 10, 1987.
Note: Cynthia Jarrett was not shot by the police, but died of a heart attack during the course of a police invasion of her home.
