From the catalogue, Creation for Liberation Open Exhibition Art by Black Artists, 1987: “Born in Grenada in 1948, Kimani attended classes at the Victoria Institute, Trinidad and Tobago and studied Graphic Art at Bennet College, Sheffield. He is mainly a self-taught graphic artist. he has exhibited at the Commonwealth Institute, Hammersmith Town Hall, Caribbean Focus (Manchester) and the Black Art Gallery.”
