The following biographical entry on Kay Sullivan appeared in the catalogue Ten Jamaican Sculptors, Commonwealth Institute Art Gallery London, September 4 - 28 1975: “Born Kingston, Jamaica 1944. Attended Sir John Cass College of Art, London 1968, and the Academia de Belli Arti, Rome 1970-73. She has participated in several group exhibitions since her graduation. 1975 silver medal winner in sculpture, Jamaica Festival exhibition.  Major commissions; statue of the late Hon. N.N. Nethersole for the Bank of Jamaica building, Kingston; “Miss Joyce” at Ocean Village, Ocho Rios; Statute (sic) of Christ for the Church of San Silvestro, Rome.  Lives and works in Kingston.”
