The artist’s biographical entry in the catalogue was “Entered the Faculty of Law at Khartoum University and later studied for two years in the School of Architecture, Sheffield University. Entered the School of Engraving, Royal College of Art, London 1959. First prize winner in the Graven Image Exhibition at the Royal Water-Colour Society, London. Taught art at the Khartoum Technical Institute and is now a lecturer in the Graphics Department of the School of Fine Art, Makerere, Uganda.”
